What?
Do you want to participate in green mobility at Punch Powertrain as a Machine Operator, but don’t have a degree in (electro)mechanics or equivalent experience?
Then this is your perfect opportunity!
With this program, we are targeting anyone who wants to switch to a Machine Operator job without already having the necessary education or experience. After a selection procedure, you will be trained in a 6-week practical training program and will be taught the basics of technology and quality.
After these 6 weeks and a positive evaluation, you will be permanently employed by Punch Powertrain in 2 shifts or fixed night.
For whom?
You have an interest in technology or automotive where you control high-tech machinery in a clean production environment and want the challenge of working as a Machine Operator. You have an eye for detail and quality, are punctual and are technically inclined. Working in a team gives you a boost. You have no prior knowledge, but a healthy dose of logic and a motivation to learn.

Working as a Machine Operator …
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating highly automated machines. You monitor the process by performing measurements and size corrections.
You are also responsible for first line maintenance of the machines.

You will be working in a highly modern production environment, where safety and quality are key. You will work in a climate controlled pleasant environment during all seasons, with a clean production process , where you do not have to lift heavy pieces.

How does it work?
Application
Submit your resume and motivation letter, which will be reviewed by our recruitment partners Adecco or Passion Works. They may call you with additional questions.
Interview and test
You are selected and invited for an interview. You get further information about the whole process and you may also share your background and motivation. You take a math and analytical test.
Tour and interview
Your test went well? Then it's time to get to know each other better. You will be invited for a tour and further explanation of your future workplace. After this, you will have a conversation with your future team leader.
Training (6 weeks)
The interview went well and you are selected? Then you will start the 6-week training. Here you will learn all the tricks of the trade: half-time you will receive theory lessons, which are complemented by half-time practice on the production floor.
Permanent contract
After a positive evaluation, you will be offered a permanent contract in 2 shifts or fixed night (and in the future the possibility of permanent weekend work).
