Punch Powertrain Announces sale of its shares in eDCT Transmission production activities in France and Italy to Stellantis

Sint-Truiden, February 3, 2025 – Punch Powertrain has completed the sale of its minority stake in the joint venture it established with Stellantis in 2019. This decision, was made in close cooperation with Stellantis and directly impacts the plants in Metz, France, and at the Mirafiori complex in Turin, Italy, where the joint venture has been producing eDCT transmissions—an advanced hybrid technology that integrates an electric motor into a dual-clutch transmission.

This sales operation is part of our strategy to rationalize our manufacturing footprint for transmissions.
