4-in-1 integrated power controller combining inverter, on-board charger, DC-DC converter, and power distribution unit in a single compact unit. Designed for battery electric light commercial vehicles up to 3.5T.

The integrated design combines inverter, OBC, DC-DC, and PDU in a single housing — reducing BOM cost by more than 10% compared to sourcing and integrating four separate units.

The modular platform allows OEMs to select inverter power level (45–110kW), OBC capacity (3.3 or 6.6kW), and PDU features including PTC heating and V2X capability. The 8-channel PDU is configurable per application demand. Maximum inverter efficiency reaches 98.7%, and combined OBC and DC-DC efficiency reaches 95%. The UP-IV3 runs on the same AutoSAR 4.2.2 software platform as the IV1, IV3, IVd3, and IV5 families — consistent architecture across the full inverter range for OEM multi-platform programmes.

Target Applications

The UP-IV3 targets battery electric light commercial vehicles up to 3.5T — including last-mile delivery vans, urban electric light trucks, and fleet LCVs. The 4-in-1 integrated design is particularly suited to LCV platforms where packaging space, payload capacity, and total system cost are critical constraints.
