May 8th, 2026, Punch Powertrain, an independent automotive powertrain supplier developing and producing transmission and electrification solutions for the global automotive industry, recently announced the appointment of Mr. Wang Lipu as its new Chief Executive Officer.
The appointment follows the decision of Sébastien Mazoyer to step down from his role as Chief Executive Officer. Punch Powertrain thanks Sébastien for his leadership and dedication over the years and wishes him every success ahead.
About Wang Lipu
Wang Lipu brings over 20 years of deep experience in the automotive industry. He has held senior leadership positions including Procurement Executive, Sales Executive, Vice President, and Global Partner at leading organisations including Minth Group, Autoliv, and Fosun Group. During his tenure he has driven significant leaps in business growth, led corporate IPOs, and won major industry awards. He brings a broad international vision, sharp insight into industrial innovation and integration, and extensive experience in capital market operations.
In his role as CEO, Wang Lipu will lead Punch Powertrain’s overall business strategy and operations, driving the company’s continued growth and competitiveness in the global automotive market.
