The company was represented by CEO Sébastien Mazoyer and Product Architect Diederik Abrams, presenting the company’s latest developments in Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) technology for A and B segment vehicles.
At CTI, Punch Powertrain shared how its DHT solution addresses key challenges faced by OEMs in smaller vehicle segments, including cost pressure, CO₂ reduction targets, and system integration complexity. The DHT platform is designed to deliver strong efficiency gains while maintaining a compact and scalable architecture suitable for high volume applications.
The presentation highlighted Punch Powertrain’s multi mode hybrid architecture, enabling series, parallel, and full electric driving within a single system.
This approach allows the drivetrain to operate in its most efficient mode across a wide range of real world driving conditions, delivering an EV like driving experience along with meaningful reductions in fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions.
A strong focus was placed on software driven control strategies, domain control, and system modularity.
